Title sequences
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4thzyFFdvVc
The title sequence for the movie ‘seven’ which was made by Kyle cooper is an example of a unique and diverse sequence. The title sequence was called a ‘piece of art’ by the New York times. By watching it, I saw that the story projected by what Cooper constructed, showed evidence of art. This overall sequence made it obvious that we should brace ourselves to witness a thriller that has been used to gain a viewer complete attention and make sure we are completely concentrated. Kyle cooper has almost used the title sequence of the movie as a mini movie itself, giving us insight of the genre of the movie, the sinister atmosphere, the possible characters and the narrative of the movie.
